Beginning Repeat sign at CODA (How to?)

Dear Dorico colleagues,

As shown in the attachment, I already have an END repeat sign in section E.
If I try to create another repeat sign, this time at the beginning of the CODA with a BEGINNING repeat sign, I will then lose out the original END repeat sign at section E. I suppose these bars are somewhat virtually connected and cannot be modified independently… unless…there is a hidden option or solution for this! Anyone, please?

Try inputting an end/start repeat sign at the start of the coda - enter : | : (without spaces) into the barlines popover (Shift-B).

Oh thank you Lillie!!! Works like a charm!

Hi @lill
I am having this problem and trying to input those characters, is it :l: - the middle character being a letter ‘l’?
thanks in advance

No, it’s the pipe character |
At least on my keyboard it’s Shift-\ just to the left of the main Enter key.
Alternatively you can type endstart into the popover.

thanks @pianoleo
I cheated by copy pasting what @Lillie_Harris had typed and it worked! But good to know the key on the keyboard, also the text way of doing it!
Thanks again
