Behringer UMC202HD and Behringer Xenix802S not connecting with Cubasis

Dear All,
I recently purchased Cubasis 3 for Android and have been trying it out. I am able to use my Zoom H1e as an interface, but when I tried to record by connecting my Behringer UMC 202HD USB interface or my Behringer Xenix802S mixer I do not get any signal recorded in Cubasys. I am using a Samsung Galaxy phone running current version of Android.
Thank you for any hints.

I’m using the Behringer UMC404HD as the audio interface for Cubasis running on an iPad, and it works, so there’s that.

Including more specifics about your problem, such as “does the interface show up in Cubasis or not” (also, screen shots help!) will help us help you!

Thank you Timo00.

I connected the interface, and it looks like Cubasis 3 recognizes it, as the input/output are changing from Built-in Microphone 1 and Built-in Speaker 1 to USB Headset 1 and USB-Audio - …202HD 192k 1 (screenshot 2).
But, when I hit the record button and try to use my mic to record nothing gets on the track (see Track 2 on the third screenshot).

Can you plz click on the Routing tab on the left so we can see where the audio input is coming from?

Here it is

Are you sure that your input device is set to that Behringer interface so that that “mono input” refers to it?

This is getting really strange…
I disconnected the condenser mic, to try with a mic that did not need 48V power (just to rule out low power conditions).
As you can see in the attached picture: on track 3 (the first one from the top) I could record from Mono input 1. Then I plugged the mic in Input 2 of the UMC202 and the setting in Cubasis to mono 2 and was able to record Track 4.
Every time I add a new track, though, it fails to record.
I restarted the phone and I was able to record Track 5 from Mono2, but when I created Track 6 it went back to a flat line/no recording.

I have to say that additionally I am unable to monitor any sound through the headphone jack of the USB interface.

Hmmmm, seems like you’ve got the connectivity sorted, but there’s clearly something strange going on. Since the interface works just fine for me on my iPad, my guess would be that this may be something Android-specific.

Sorry I can’t be of more help, but hopefully someone else who lives in the Android world can jump in.

Thank you TimoOO. I appreciate your support!
