Have you tried it with Cubase 13, too? Does the knobs work as they should for panning?
I am using Cubase 12 on PC. Works perfectly. All knobs and sliders are programmable.

Great to see the broad discussion this started & the diversity of solutions. I wound up trying several.
Ultimately, I settled on the Solid State Logic UF8. It was impressive initially in terms of build and CB12/13 integration. A few months later, SSL released an update to the configuration software (SSL 360), and wow. The update dramatically expanded the amount of customization possible, to the extent that I’m now able to perform most higher level functions during recording, editing, plugin manipulation & mixing without using the computer keyboard. And the ability to ride multiple faders at once for mixdowns beats the hell out of single channel/strip units.
For me, at roughly $1,700 now in Canada, the UF8 is hands down the highest quality & best integrated with Cubase of any of the controllers I tried in this range. And I just saw today that SSL has released another 360 update. Can’t wait.
