Best monitor/resolution/scaling for Windows 11-Cubase 14 in 2025?

thankyou. My wife once ruined her MBP, remember the white ‘plastic ones?’ with a candle…melted the plastic behind the screen.

I shall remove them… TBH I wouldn’t light them in that position and I’ve now got remote controlable LED bulbs in my ‘cloud’ that can change to any colour/brigtness if I want to change the vibe in the room.

Hi! I want to buy and OLED as well, ultrawide and all that but I’m worried about the burnin effect on the pixels working on cubase, Anyone have experienced any issue?

Hi there,
Am I right in saying you bought the 2K and not the 4?
I copied your link and it was for a 4K at £553. I’m upgrading too and need to be sure what to buy.
Thanks
Tom

yes, the resolution is 3440 x 1440 . I run it at 100% scaling .

M

Thanks for your time but is it 2K and about £550? With Oled. I have to be sure

Thanks Marcus, ( I looked you up) I’ll get this once I’ve sold another guitar🤣
I know Gordy Marshal quite well and I see you played Westlands last year in Yeovil. My home Town.
Thanks for your reply

I played westlands last week

yes it’s the 2k version I have. I wanted to run windows at 100% because of scaling of some plugins so moved my 4K screen to my wife’s office. She’s very happy with it running Linux Mint

Spot on Marcus that’s really helped thanks again. Happy recording and mixing.
All the best

If you have worked well with
16:9 with 27 inch and Full HD (1920 × 1080 Pixel)

and you want a bigger screen with a higher resolution,
the screen must become as much larger in percentage terms
as the resolution becomes larger.

So if you want to switch to WQDH (2560 x 1440 Pixel),
your screen should be 36 inches, but there is no such screen.
The only one that exists that is good and has 16:9 is this one,
16:9 with 38 inch and WQDH (2560 x 1440 Pixel):
