Best way to create symmetrical bend/glissando

Hello,

I’m currently writing a transcription score for a song that I created in a DAW. I struggle to write a simple thing: a symmetrical glissando on a double bass. The duration is a whole note. The pitch has to start from D1, go to C1 and get back to D1. The C1 needs to be reached at the end of the first half note. See the screenshot:

I have the impression that guitar bends and glissandi are not appropriate if I don’t want to overcomplicate the rhythm.

What is the best way to write this in standard notation, please? Maybe just a symbol with an indication?

Thank you,

Cyril.

Perhaps one way. A bracketed grace note before the barline with a hidden stem and two gliss lines. Using a slur instead of a tie. Also decreased the minimum spacing for glissando lines under Library->Engraving Options->Glissando Lines.

Thank you very much, and sorry for the late reply. It works well.
