Best way to update C5.0.1 (trail) to C5.5.2

I’ve started with the trail version, that is C5.0.1.147, and today I received my C5 update. I want to intall the latest version C5.5.2.

My question is what is the best way to do this:

  1. like an incremental; C5.0.1 → C5.1.0 → C5.1.1 → C5.5.0 – C5.5.1 and C5.5.2
  2. C5.0.1 → C5.5.0 and than C5.5.2
  3. C5.0.1 to C5.5.2 in one time

The install is on a MacBook Pro 2,66 GHz i7 with 4GB

You should be fine just installing 5.5.2 in one update. From the download page: “This patch updates any installed Cubase 5 installation to the current version Cubase 5.5.2!”

Thank you for the reply.

I see in your Signature that you installed Cubase 5.1.1 and not 5.5.2 on your Windows XP PC. Did you do that with a special reason?

No problem ^^

Well, I remember there were a few bugs that concerned me when 5.5 was initially released, although I’m sure they have been resolved by now. I didn’t look into it too much and figured I’d upgrade when I wasn’t mid-project. Of course, I still haven’t upgraded, because I am always “mid-project” it seems. I’ll get to it eventually!
