Bezier automation curves get rewritten as points quite often. Is there a way to avoid this?

It’s hard to say when it happens exactly, but sometimes it will be during a session, and sometimes after I recall a session. Is there a way to avoid this happening? I feel that if you write a bezier curve for automation then it should never go back to interpolated points visually ever (it doesn’t matter that that’s what its doing behind the scenes)unless you tell Cubase to – otherwise it takes multiple extra steps to get that curve back for easy changing.

EDIT: This is in the Project Window automation lanes.

Hi,

Did you delete some nodes by any chance?

How did you edit the automation curves?

In this case it’s always editing with the bezier curve, and it happens whether or not I delete the nodes that anchor the bezier curves. It doesn’t happen while I’m doing it, just sometimes when I go back to change it later.

Are you talking about the automation in the project view or in the key editor?
