Yeah ā€¦ itā€™s always a hit or miss when it comes to these type of deals

I think Steinberg created there Absolute bundle to compete with the NI Komplete bundle
The HAlion 6 Crossgrade at the normal price was a very bad deal for me as I Also already owned The Grand 3 and HALion Symphonic Orchestra and still have the 8 DVDā€™s that they used to be installed from
I did contact there support About it but when these deals came along I was more okay with getting it

If you already own multiple products that are in the bundle than you should get some discount for that in my opinion but I also understand that with the older eLicencer still in place this might be very difficult to do ā€¦
The new Licencing system should make that possibility for Steinberg a lot easier to achieve and i hope they will do something with it in the future
as it is kind of rude to give ā€œThe Fingerā€ to your costumers who own multiple products

Itā€™s correct ideas, but i think i sooner upgraded at full price, than occurs some kind of loyalty discount from multiple products. (Perhaps at that time i will at retire already lol).
And respectively i can do it in some future (if do at all), instead current BF, since no difference. And many interesting offers from other vendors, including for single products\upgrades.

I was hoping for a Dorico sale, but it turned out to be in vain. Suddenly, I discovered that Finale is being sold at a huge discount, so itā€™s cheaper for me to buy Finale and crossgrade to Pro than to upgrade from Elements 5. Itā€™s just madness. Perhaps itā€™s possible to request an upgrade at the crossgrade price, so I donā€™t have to go the convoluted route and spend money on Finale, which I donā€™t intend to use?

Sorry, but that coupon is only valid for the Absolute 6 bundle. It wont work if you attempt to purchase Halion 7 by itself.

Welcome to the forum.

I donā€™t think there will be a discount again, just for Black Friday. Steinberg just ended a 50% Anniversary discount in September, so there is not a high chance of getting another rebate that soon.

I just saw this. Itā€™s actually quite frustrating, since I had the same problem and missed the sale last year, and just missed it again this year. The music industry seems pretty organized around offering reasonable prices at Black Friday and having much higher prices the rest of the year. With Cubase not following this pattern itā€™s keeping people like me using alternatives instead of switching to Cubase despite a desire to do so.

I highly recommend that Cubase does a Black Friday sale to get the normal users like me who keep missing the off-season sale announcements.
