I think it’s time to design a bleed detection model to extract bleed from a target track within a mix within Cubase. I’m not a friend to use a gate for this purpose.
iZotope RX Adv. has a bleed plugin where you can side chain another track to let it detect the microphone bleed within eg. a vocal track. From my view it’s just a substaction from the target signal compared to the other track’s identical signal frequencies. It’ll be nice to reduce the bleed signal either on a transient way and/or on a spectral way and to let the user decide how much of the signal gets substracted.
As mixing live multi track audios with Cubase is really something of Cubase’s domain I thing such a plugin is really missing as an integral part of Cubase.
