No, I’ve got my own ‘sax-lab’…

I’ve listened to Chris Hein Horns Pro and although the sections sound pretty good I’m not too fond of the solo instruments.

Hi Wim ( everything Cool? ), I know that SAX Lab will not impress a real player.

I’ve never found a virtual bass instrument that impressed me Big time .

I checked out the session horns yesterday as well. Some nice riffs and such, but ensemble stuff sounds synthy to my ear, a common problem with brass overall.

Of course, it may be that Mojo has similar issues and their demos are just clever enough to avoid showcasing them.

I checked out MOJO HORNS a couple of years ago. Not sure if much has changed, I would need to re-listen. But in any case, for BIG BAND JAZZ type genre they sounded totally superb!
