the title in my header has suddenly sprouted a border ! i’ve tried the following troubleshooting from library / paragraph styles but no luck . can anyone tell me what i’m missing ? thanks so much !

You don’t show the Paragraph style which is used by your title.
The default is Title, but you could have changed that in the Page Override.
That looks like it might be a flow title. In any case, you can tell what paragraph style it’s using by selecting it, right clicking, and choosing Edit Font. That will take you directly to the applicable paragraph style.
