Small request: I’d like to be able to select a border (circle) around selected fingerings for students to watch out for. Maybe could be added to the Fingerings section in the Properties Panel?
That ability is in the Properties panel, but only when you are in Engrave mode. Look for Decoration in the Fingering and Positions section. Make sure you have selected only the fingering (not the note as well).
In Engraving Options > Fingering > Design > Advanced Options (above Substitutions), you can set the Enclosure line thickness, and the Minimum gap between enclosure and fingering.
