It seems to be unpossible to start both applications - the audio-hardware is saying something… Could it be so? I think it has to be possible to start both…
It should be possible, provided you either have multi-client audio drivers, or you set the option in each program to suspend their ownership of the audio device when the application goes into the background.
Steinberg UR44 with up-to-date Yamaha Drivers…
