I bought Dorico lifetime for iPad from Apple, on the 18th of Sep, 2025. Before that I used one week free trial Version. It all worked well.
From beginning of October, it crashed all the time. Both with any excisting projects ( i created 4 projects) or to open a new one.
I tried what I can think about, reinstall, iPad restart, system update, nearly all accessibilities from iPad are switched off….
any help would be greatly appreciated!
Are you using Iconica etc. by chance for playback? The only iPad crashes I’ve personally had were pushing too hard with Iconica for the amount of memory/storage I had available. They recommend using that for small scores only, and GM for others.
No. I only write some short piano pieces with Dorico. Normally 2 or 3 pages. And I don’t use playback.
I think I read on here a couple of days ago that this might be caused by some accessibility features. You could search for that and see.

I’m sure the team are working on a fix. There have been several other reports.

Just want to let everyone know, my Dorico works again, since yesterday, no idea why, I didn’t do anything. Maybe the team fixed it, maybe the weather …
