Something that has driven crazy about Nuendo for as long as i can remember, is when you are creating a bunch of objects on a track when your editing an audio file and you perform an operation like “rename objects” on a bunch of selected objects on that track, Nuendo changes the description name of the object. I can’t bounce those objects out as separate files with the names in the description field.
It would be great if there was a option for the “bounce selection” to bounce the selected objects as separate files using each objects description field name.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding you.
We digitize historical recordings and name our audio events after Excel tables. (to the description field)
Then we select several events or the entire track and go to File → Export → selected events.
Naming scheme: Event-name.
Modus: As seperate events.
Then each individual audio event is created as a single file with the filename as the description field.
We do this every day. A function that is not available in Cubase.
!!! Only events from one track can be selected at a time. Not across multiple tracks !!!
You can actually render cycle markers from several tracks/busses at the same time.
But don’t explain everything sometimes it’s better to learn by exploring.
