This happens all the time: I am editing a part, I close the audio edit window, drag the part to a Groove Agent pad, I hit the pad, and the small portion I cut is all that plays. I remember I had to bounce it first, I do that, drag again, this time it works.
This is the single most annoying thing about Cubase for me.
