Box builder font?

I was thinking about what the easiest solution would be for staff-attached boxes that could be easily copy-pasted. It seems the best method would be to use a text item, and simply build the box using available horizontal and vertical lines. Here’s what I came up with:

The problem is that they’re a little fiddly, since I had to shift baselines significantly.

What would be perfect is a font like Arrow Crafter, which allows you to build shapes using basic characters.

Does anyone know of a font like that?

couldn’t you just use a paragraph style with the boarder property and use empty spaces to declare the width?
