when I load a sample recorded @ 144 bpm (or whatever bpm) the (greyed out) File Tempo/Bpm box in the sample page always says it’s recorded @120 bpm. How can I change this. I want the bars + beats grid match the real tempo of my samples? At this moment bars+beats notation is pretty useless. 
I have a workaround… bpm =144 , measure 4/4, samplerate 44100hz. Samples = (4*60/144)44100notelength 
The bpm field will open up for editing when you slice the sample. Not sure if it will help you in this context.
