Bracket outside margin

Hello,

is this something you can reproduce on your systems?

The two images show the left margin with and without staff name in a choir score. As far as I know, the bracket should not go into the margin, please correct me if I am wrong. A search for margins and brackets yielded nothing.

I would prefer the bracket to stay to the right of the blue line. Is there a way to achieve this?

It’s customary to have the brackets outside the margin so that systems will line up properly, regardless of the bracket type.

If you want the brackets inside the page margin, simply move the left edge of the music frame(s) to the right.

Thank you very much Knut for that information! I really did not know. I guess I just got used to the looks of the templates in Finale, which I actually should not trust…
