Brackets and subbrackets

Hi!
I’m working on a symphony orchestra score and I was wondering: is it possible to have (for ex. flutes) no subbracket when they are condensed (aka Flute 1.2.), but a subbracket showing if they get seperated into two staves from time to time.
(I wish I don’t have to do this manually once I finish the piece)
