Brackets around accidentals

I want to put brackets around this accidental.

This is because a earlier iteration of this line has is sharpened - so the brackets are just for clarity.

The info bar doesn’t seem to provide anything for this as far as I can tell…
Is there another way?

The properties panel>Accidental has the option show with brackets.

(Manual entry here - top result when searching for “accidental brackets”)

Hi, how do I create an accidental with brackets in this case? Thank you

I think you’ll need to type it in as a text (with Bravura or the music font of your choice) and position it in Engrave mode.

Thank you for your answer. Such native function in Properties Panel would be very useful because it is quite common…

And possibly an “Editorial” option for all objects;

but perhaps difficult to make, considering the many alternatives that exist.

You can create a Playing Technique of the brackets. Use the brackets in the default SMuFL range in the editor!

You’ll need to scale them down slightly. I’ve used 80% here: perhaps more would be better.
Dorico will place the PT above the mordent, so you’ll need to move it in Engrave mode:

As it’s a Playing technique, make sure that you have a “None” Playback Technique, so that it doesn’t affect any actual playback by triggering “Natural”.
