Just finished a mix for Juno winning artist Brett Kissel. I used Cubase 9 with Slate Digital and Solid State Logic plugins, and the bundled Steinberg plugins.

Glenn, thanks for posting! Was listening to this mix against the original album mix just now. Your mix sounds great! Compared to the album mix, I’d say whoever did that made it softer, more mono, and more midrange, in terms of equalizing. More like listening to the radio. It’s quite a difference, and I wish I could describe it better. I don’t know what your objective was in this new mix, but I’d say yours is louder, and covers a wider frequency spectrum.
