we love it and its very handy for other studio’s
then the activication manager i got two usb elicensers

dont shut it down in 2025 :wink:

While I don’t necessarily agree on keeping the dongle itself, I think people should have the right to install older versions of their software, as well as the new ones. If you buy Cubase 14 then you can install Cubase 12, but not lower than that because of the dongle.

I expressed this, as well, in one of my previous replies:

It would be nice if SB could patch their All old programs to run without the dongle.
i hope steinberg understand this

I never had any issues with the dongles and it was really great when going between systems.

But I guess that’s not an issue many people have that requirement so now it’s like it is. So many were vocal against it - never could figure out what the issue was.

Probably gone forever, unfortunately.
