BUG: 6.0.2 - Saving template will not appear until restart

Cubase

Cubase 6.0.2 x64/Win7 x64

  1. Start Cubase
  2. Choose New… from a template that you have previously created
  3. Edit the template
  4. Choose Save As Template…
  5. Click on the old template’s name
  6. Choose “Overwrite”
  7. Close current file
  8. Choose New…

RESULT - BUG: template you just saved is not listed.

CONTINUE:
9. Start Cubase
10. Choose New…

RESULT: Template now appears.

works here without any problem. Please be sure that you have installed the latest Cubase updates.

I suspect that there is an issue with your Cubase preferences. Please let Cubase rebuild his preferences. Details can be found here https://www.steinberg.net/en/support/knowledgebase_new/show_details/kb_show/removing-the-preferences-of-the-sequencer.html

Ok, thanks Chris… and you followed the steps exactly? I will try removing the prefs and having them created from scratch if you confirm.
