this happened inexplicably today. new instances of the cubase stock compressor do not show incoming side chain signals on the gain reduction meter, making it a pain to use. my old instances show their side chain signals no problem, just today new instances seem broken: they show the signal from the channel itself rather than the channel triggering it.
any help would be appreciated.
