BUG: disabling "Scroll to Selected Track" doesn't work when selecting in PLE

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create empty project, add 100 tracks.

  2. Make sure Preferences → Editing → Project & MixConsole → Scroll to selected track is disabled.

  3. Scroll down to the last track.

  4. Open Project Logical Editor, create this:

    Name - Equal - Track 01 (replace with your first track’s name)
    Mode: Select

  5. Observe that it will scroll to the first track when you use it, so there is a bug.

Why is this important?

In my case, I have a macro that selects and opens a Piano track in key editor whenever any part is opened, so that I’ll see the piano in the background every time. It’s very convenient and fast.
But currently it is basically unusable because of this slow and broken auto scrolling.
