[BUG] Loudness Analysis - File Names in Wrong Order

Hi there,

I have an issue where, when importing multiple wav files into a File Group and performing Loudness Analysis, the file names are out of order in the analysis window.

I have tried to click the tab to change the order, but it still doesn’t show the correct file order. It’s currently 01, 02, 07, 06, 05, 08… and so on.

Image attached shows the issue.

I’m using Windows 10 Pro 22H2 and WaveLab 12.0.50.

Regards, Jim.

This is not a bug because the files are analysed in no specific order. I mean, file name ordering is not a feature.
However I agree it would be better to sort the list by name.
I note this for a future version.

Thanks for taking it into consideration for a future version. Greatly appreciated.

A possibly related issue: if you were to highlight a group of files in Windows Explorer that have sequential names, like xxxxx001.wav, xxxxx002.wav, xxxxx003.wav, etc., and drag/drop them into an empty file group, Wavelab opens and places them in the file group a seemingly random order, instead of 1, 2, 3, etc.
