I’ve noticed that when copying/pasting lyrics, even to rhythmically identical passages, they will often be wildly out of order, and/or will have several missing syllables. Is this a known issue? Is this an inherent flaw in the logic of the lyrics engine?
No, this is not a general problem, as far as I’m aware. Can you attach an example that reproduces the problem?

(However, I assumed that MusicXML from Finale might have been a factor.)
Well, that’s a very interesting observation too, but without an actual project attached here or sent to me with some steps that would help me to reproduce the problem, all I can do is tell you that it’s an interesting observation.

Turns out it’s not just insert mode. I experienced a copy/paste bug when copying from one flow to another just today.
Same here, they get jumbled no matter what I do. They copy and paste fine from staff to staff, but to another project, the syllables get reordered
Update: I think it’s solved!
Select the music you need
Go to: Edit>Reset Position
Paste into the other flow/file
Tell me if it works!
