Bug: Retrologue holds notes indefinitely in melodic Pattern Event preview

  1. Create an empty project in Cubase

  2. Add an instrument track with Retrologue and a melodic Pattern Event

  3. Click on the preview button of a note in the Pattern Event editor

Result: Retrologue holds the notes indefinitely. Happens only with Retrologue and no other instrument I tried, so I guess it’s a Retrologue bug.

Hi, Tried it and works normal. 15.0.21 Pro version

Added video. I’m on Cubase 15.0.21 Pro too.

Hi, sorry, can’t reproduce the issue. Also with init retrologue preset it works normal. Maybe a reinstall of retrologue?

Reinstalled to no avail. Weird, but not a big issue.

This seems to happen when in Retrologue the Polyphonic Key Mode is activated. This mode basically enables Note Expression.

It happens in Padshop,too.

I am also sure that this was mentioned to Steinberg already and they confirmed adding it to their bug database.
