Bug: Text Entry Randomly Stops Working

In write mode, I was able to add text to the beginning of a simple score. When I tried to add text to the fourth system of that score, the “abc” menu item on the right menu bar would not highlight. I.e. clicking on “abc” to start Text mode does not highlight and I can’t add any text to the fourth system.

Note that the other right menu items seem to work fine.

  1. What happens if you select a note or rest on the fourth system and type Shift-X? That’s the usual way of starting text entry.
  2. You CAN upload Dorico scores to this forum. You have to zip them (compress them) first.
