Bug with Condensing score and removed rest

I am moving my 4th symphony from Finale to Dorico so I can finish the last movement in Dorico. I’m trying to do something like Beethoven’s Fifth

I have a measure set up like 2/4,10. I didn’t find away to hide the rests but I could “Remove Rest” which also seems to be called “End Voice Immediately” them all so I did and in Galley view it looks right.

But when I look at the condensed page view it is wrong, at least for the instruments being Condensed.

Some one gave me the idea to use a hidden tuplet which basically looks right but does not playback correctly of coarse since the other instruments play for half the measure thus ruining the playback.

Is there any other ways to fix this so that I get the correctly layout and playback like I had in Finale?

You may adjust the tuplets in order to make the cadenza starting after the rest, e.g.:

OK so still have to use the tuplet idea but break it up more.
Man, I miss staff styles to hide notes that made this so much easier.

Thanks for the pointer.

Maybe you can keep the long measure solution with the removed rests, but in that case, I cannot tell you why they appear in the condensed staves - another user will surely be able to help you with that particular issue!

Well your solution has worked the best so far, thanks again for the pointer. It plays back much better and almost looks like it did in Finale.
