Hi!
I’m sorry if this is already discussed, but I couldn’t find something.
I am new to VST Live and I made my firsts tries with a simple split in my keyboard.
In the mixer, the Inserts/Sends section of some channels seem to be crashed randomly after the project is open for a while.
The only workaround I found is to close the program and reopen it.
Am I the only one here? Is there a possibility I make something wrong, and cause this?
I’m in Windows 11.

can you please give me your project file? I just need the “*.vlprj” file. Then we’ll analyse the lost insert/send slots.

Unfortunately the project file, isn’ t working anymore.
During a save, VST Live crushed, and afterwards the project file got corrupted, and the program cannot open it.
I tried to use some .bak files (like the way I use them in cubase), but I could not figure out how to open them. Seems that the program does not support them.
For what is worth, I’m sending you the project file, along with .bak files.

Happened me once. Rename bak to VST Live project file and try to open it from HUB. It worked me
… can you create a folder, put the files into it and zip it? Then drag the zip file here, please. Of course, you can send me a Private Message. Meanwhile, I’ll ask the admin to allow “*.vlprj” files.
Can you please have a look here? Do you find some files with a name “Vstlive”? Can you give them to us? Drag it here, please, too.

… just rename the files “myproject.bak” to “myproject.vlprj”

I don’t know if its now usefull to you, but I’m uploading again the .vlprj, along with the crush dump.
P.S. For others bugs that I ’ ve found should I make a new thread, or can I continue here?

Just an idea, did u try with most recent v1.4.7? Regarding crash dump u’re using 1.4.0, right?
Yes, I use 1.4.0.
It’s the only installer that appears in Steinberg Download Assistant.
… thank you for the Crash.Log. We’ve analysed it and we are very sorry that it happened. It is connected with your lost INSERTS/SEND slots. And those lost slots will happen when you paste (shared) a copied Layer. It’s fixed now.
As @fkalmus already mentioned : We are trying to release every week (Friday) a new Pre-Release of VST Live. Watch out the Forum, because we are pushing the news here.

The file “TIN PAN ALLEY_02.vlprj” has 0 bytes, that’s why VST Live cannot load it. We will update the message for that case.
The other one loads fine here, so as said, check again with the upcoming version.
