Bug with solos in Midi Editor

In the Cubase 15 MIDI editor, there seems to be a bug with solos (unless I’m mistaken).

I have five instruments. For the editing mode options, I choose active container priority. For the solo options, I choose to follow this priority.

But if I change instruments (and containers, because I have only one container per instrument), all the instruments play.

I have to disable and re-enable the solo to hear a single instrument.

Sometimes I have to do this twice. Something is wrong.

Any ideas? Is this a bug?

Update : Finally, I resolved the issue by enabling the option ‘Solo/Record in MIDI Editors follows Project Window’. Combined with the auto-solo on the selected track, the behavior becomes predictable and the multiple playback bug disappears.

Hi,

Are you talking about the Solo in Editor or the track’s Solo?

By container, I believe, you mean the MIDI Part, right?

How exactly do you change the instrument? What exactly do you mean by this?

Hi Martin. Sorry for the translation, I am using terms from the French version of Cubase.

Midi Editor.
Midi part.

I mean: when I select an instrument track from among the 5.

P.S. I updated my first message (without correcting the terms, however).
