Bug: you can start recording on the Hub dialog

Version: 13.0.41
Windows 11

Repro:

  • Start Cubase 13 from the desktop.
  • When you see the Hub dialog, press ‘*’ on the numeric keypad
  • The metronome count-in starts, counts some bars.
  • You get an error dialog saying “Audio recording aborted. The Disk is full”

Expected behaviour: you should not be able to trigger audio recording with no project loaded.

That also happens on Windows 10, and the same message appears. However, it’s not a big issue because you can still start or load Cubase, a project, or a template normally after clicking OK. It doesn’t cause Cubase to crash.

It’s still a bug
