Buying tablet advice

So you used Cubasis and still so low battery use? That is impressive. And you are welcome, I am glad things worked out

Yeah I don’t see 80% max charge ??

This feature is only on my iPad Air 6, not on my Air 4.

Yes, my project is using :
4 x Synthmaster 1s.
5 x Synthmaster 2s.
1 x Waldorf Wave.
2 x Discovery AUv3’s
2 x OB-Xd’s
2 x Korg iM1’s
1 x Ting
1 x Factory Modular Synth
3 x Halion Sonic

The CPU is 4%
The DSP is 12%

Now that is an impressive set of synths and still so low battery and cpu usage

Are you serious dude? 4% and 12%??!

No other DAW handles system resources like Cubasis

BTW let’s hear (or even see!) a sample of this track if you want to share. I would like to hear your song with those Audio Units, im interested ! lol

Here is a screen shot of my project playing at its busiest part of the song, the CPU has gone up to 4 and the DSP now up to 14.
I removed a couple of synths after making a few changes since my last post.

Thanks for posting this. Looked good. Now I only wish that I could hear it too. But no pressure. Ofc you don’t have to send the music here if you don’t want to

Yeah dude! I didn’t mean a screenshot; I meant like a video of the song playing lol

But I appreciate you showing how beautiful Cubasis 3 looks

The tune is called Dancing With Butterflies.
I have added ButterSynth for some sound fx but this makes the DSP peak at 40%, ButterSynth is known for being CPU hungry.

Thanks. It sounded very good. What genre is it?

Thanks, I don’t really know what genre it belongs to, I compose all kinds of different music, I was inspired to write this piece after listening to the preset in both OB-Xd and DSP Discovery AUv3, they had that magic sparkle that I just had to use.
I also cover lots of different songs from Orchestral to Electronic Rock.

Nice! You should post a link in the lounge with the “made-with-steinberg” tag.

Reminds me of pre-ambient atmospheric 80’s synth-pop from people like Howard Jones, Talk Talk, Tears for Fears, The Blue Nile and others.

A really good example of what is possible on an iPad with Cubasis. I think us Android users will have to wait a while for the hardware to catch up!

Thanks, I am mostly into electronic and prog rock, but I also like the bands you mentioned above, being almost 72 years old I’ve heard a few bands in my life time, I’m sure some of their influences have rubbed off on me lol
