How can I have an insert still bypassed after restarting Cubase 10.
Bypass can be automated so you be able to just write automation for the bypass to be active.
What I mean is this:
In a track (in a project) there is one insert (plugin) that is bypassed (inactive)
I save (the project) and close cubase 10.
Then when I open (cubase 10 and the the project) again the insert (plugin) is now active (not bypassed).
It should save that setting (unless it’s an issue with one particular VST).
Suggest that you check the Cubase preferences>general menu and set the “Open Projects in Last View Used” option to “Always”.
