I have recently upgraded from C9 to C12 Artist and some of the basic functions are confusing me - including the glue function.
Can someone please tell me why, when I parts together it seems to affect the whole track. It may be easier to explain with pictures
I only want to glue this part not the rest
I also cant seem to glue this part for some reason. Which where the original cut was made. So, I can’t glue a new part to where the cut was made.
Any thoughts from anyone as to what I am doing wrong would be appreciated.
Audio events cannot be glued together.
What happens in the first example is that two events are connected to each other by creating an audio part (a container for events) around them.
In your second example there might be no further event to the right of the one you click on. Therefore there is nothing to be “glued”.
