I have patch name scripts for each of my synths. Often my patch names are organised into banks: Organs, Piano, Basses, etc.
In the Inspector, I will click on the patch name field, scroll past all of the un-expanded bank names, expand the contents of the bank I’m interested in, and select a patch.
When I select a patch name, all of the banks suddenly expand, and to access the next patch name where I previously was I have to go scrolling way down to the bottom of the now huge list, with all of its expanded bank contents. Either that or go through re-closing all the banks.
If I now select the next patchname I want, all of the banks expand once again. This happens every time.
I’m experiencing the same issue. I setup all my banks and patches for my Moog Sub 37. Under Cubase 12, I can select one patch and it will stay shown and selected, and I can use the arrow keys to navigate up or down through patches, demonstrating them by playing after selecting a new patch.
Under Cubase 13, it just reloads all the banks with all of them expanded. I can’t navigate in that manner any longer to preview each selected patch.
I was using Cubase 13.0.20, running in Rosetta 2 mode on an Apple Silicon Mac (Mac Studio). I just upgraded to Cubase 13.0.30, and this resolved the issue.
