C14 change multiple fader values

In C14 im trying to select multiple groups in the mixer window and reduce them by 4db.

In C13 id just select the groups, hold alt-shift double click on one of the fader values and type in a lower value.

It’s not working that way in C14 - also the cuelink with mute and solo doesn’t seem to work.

Generally it works in C14 in the same way as it did in C13.
So there might be an issue with your installation, maybe the preferences.

Thanks for the reply - here’s a video to clarify my problem

Shift-Alt/Opt only temporarily links channels, i.e. the link is only active as long as you press these keys. But entering a dB value requires to release the keys. I think to enter dB values the permanent Q-Link mode has to be activated.

Thanks - like I said,.it works in c13 and previous versions.

The difference is that the Enter key does not get registered while holding down Alt+Shift.

It’s being registered - just incorrectly. Because if I hit enter 4 times, i have to press delete 4 times before it starts to delete the value i’ve input for the fader.

As a workaround: click alt+shift, type the number, press again alt+shift and click outside the number box.

@Martin.Jirsak Can you please report this to devs? Really frustrating bug that is still not fixed

How is it possible that such a simple bug is STILL not fixed, even after yesterday’s update? I seriously can’t believe it.

I doubt it’s a bug, it’s probably just another of the multitude of changed behaviours since Cubase 12.

It’s a bug for sure, since @diegoalejo15 posted a workaround that works.

Easier to just link channels (using Q-Link).

So we have two workarounds:

  1. click the Q-Link button to have the mode engaged; don’t use Alt+Shift / Opt+Shift
  2. use Alt+Shift / Opt+Shift but instead of pressing Enter/Return use the left mouse click outside of the value field.
