C14 Score Fonts query

Couple of questions/ideas re Cubase 14 Score Editor.

  1. What is the default Font type in the Score Editor?

  2. Is there a way of decoupling the font sizes of the Title and the Chord Symbols? I would like the Title to be smaller without affecting the Chord Symbols.

  3. Is it possible to set the number of Staves per page in the same way we can set the number of measures across the page. (Wasn’t this possible in the previous version). Note that I can get what I want eventually by manipulating the page margins (and other settings) but it would be nice to be able to force the system to provide a page with 4 measures across and 4 staves down, for example.

BTW, I am really happy with the new Score Editor so far. I find it great for songwriting.

Hi Ricardo, thanks for your feedback and your kind words.

  1. The default music font is Bravura, and the default text font is Academico. You can adjust that in the Score menu, Score Settings dialog.
  2. No, not currently, but this is on the roadmap for a future release. In the meantime, you can export directly to Dorico and tweak those settings there.
  3. No, there is no setting to specify the number of staves per page. The new Score Editor is following the abilities of Dorico here.
