Hi, all
(System specs : Windows 10 22H2, Cubase Pro 14.0.40/15.0.5, 32Gb RAM, 2 SSD, Radeon RX550)
Just upgraded to C15 yesterday : its installation (with my administrator account) and registration went without issues. The problems started at the first launch of it (with my user account), with the template project I was using with C14, opened via the new hub. As soon as the project window appeared I got this in front displayed (the project does have a GA5 instance, as I have also an Absolute 6 licence) :
At the same time, the whole thing froze completely (both GA5 and Cubase windows were inactive). I had to kill the Cubase process with the Task Manager. The crash left no dump file.
Seeing this, I tried with C14 to see if the project was altered, a way or another : nope, but I got the same missing files window, Cubase being responsive, this time.
So, I closed it and went back to C15 with few launches : each time, no more crash but the missing files window appear and the preset Alive is unusable. Using Mediabay, the involved preset is no longer retrievable, as well as any .wav file with a name starting with FC04, as shown above. I never had problems until then, using this Alive preset with C14.
To be as complete as possible : after having downloaded and installed C15 with the SDA, as I was in it, I also made a GA5 SE content reinstallation as, strangely, it wasn’t marked as installed - I thought that it needed an update.
At the end, my question is : does anyone have, either, audio files with their name starting with FC04, or a preset named Alive installed on their setup ? Seems rather strange to me that a perfectly working preset just vanished with its content after a Cubase/GA5 SE content upgrade.
Thanks for any suggestion.
