C8.5 windows handling issue

Windows 8.1 64bit, Cubase 8.5 64bit.
The Main Cubase window is Maximized.
The Project and MixConsole window are side by side on the same monitor.
I open MIDI or Drum or Audio Editor, then close it, then open again, then close it and now focus switches to MixColnsole window and Project window disappears, so I need to click on the Task bar to get it back.
If the Main window is not maximized then focus just swithes to MixConsole window but Project window stays visible.
If MixConsole window is on my second monitor - everything works fine.

In Cubase 8.0.3 everything works as expected.

Can anybody confirm?

Greetings.

Guys, anybody.

It does do that yes.

As a workaround you could maybe show desktop instead of the cubase background behind your Cubase windows (double click the main Cubase title bar) and then your project will stay visible.

Thank you Grim.
I know workarounds (I just can put MixConsole to my second monitor), but with all this system related bugs reported on the Forum I’m a bit paranoid now. For instance I couldn’t open my projects in Cubase by double clicking on them in the Windows Explorer, but now I can.

Now I’m sure it’s a C8.5 bug.

Greetings.
