Well, I just looked at the documentation and it appears the tempo editor once again got second-class-citizen treatment. Editing tempo in place in the tempo track is totally inadequate for finely-applied adjustments. For those of us who do a lot of tempo manipulation, the tempo editor is where we spend a lot of our time. I must say that I am deeply disappointed that this linking feature didn’t go the full distance.

Yes, I have long wanted the Tempo Track to allow fine-grained tempo adjustments in-line. I almost always have to open the Tempo Window to do -any- tempo or time sig editing.
