Hi , Can Cubase 8 effects be used in a live situation . in real time , say a singer singing to a midi file , using steinberg reverbs , delays n compression , in real time , if so How ? thanks ws

You’ll need a powerful audio interface and computer hardware, so that you can set the buffer size low enough, to get no spikes and that the latency will not be heard. Also the effect plugin should not have any latency itself.

Thanks , any one suggest zero latency sound card for the above requested feature , hardly any sound cards with USB 3 , the Firewire is a complicated protocol … thanks again
