I could be out of touch with the latest on this: Is there a way now in C14 to edit controllers on multiple MIDI tracks at the same time in the Key Editor? For example: I have three separate MIDI tracks selected to edit in the Key Editor, and I want to change the modulation on all three at the same time without having to copy and paste each one or go to the list editor. I know this has been a request for a long time, just not sure if there’s a way to do it now that I missed.
In contrast to MIDI notes, MIDI CC data can only be edited for the Active Part currently selected in the editor.
Gotcha, thanks.
I keep hoping we’ll get the option to enter in/draw/copy&paste CC info with multiple tracks at once, obviously overwriting what was there before. And also being able to trim overall CC levels on multiple tracks at once.
Would save a lot of time and clicking.
Have you tried to maybe have the MIDI CC data in a separate MIDI track and route that track to several destination tracks?
e.g. MIDI tracks can have up to 4 additional MIDI sends.
At least in theory, that would allow 5 destinations for MIDI CCs.
There is the chance to use shared copies of midi parts that hold the controller information.
In this case all the data would be identical in each part.
This can be achieved by making use of the Logical Editor:
This preset will halve all values for CC11-Expression
The LE preset can be used in the Key Editor also with the Range Tool on multiple parts on the same position.
