Can i install Cubase 11 if i have a Cubase 12 license?

G’day everyone,

I used Cubase 6 until quite recently, when i upgraded to windows 10, and Cubase 12. I’m sorry to say, i’ve found Cubase 12 to be super unstable. It’s 50-50 chance the program freezes, or sometimes freezes my entire system and i have to do a hard reboot.

So if i own the Cubase 12 license, do i have access to previous versions? Could i use Cubase 11 with the license i have?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I’m sorry you have problems with Cubase 12.

Do you have some DMP files to share, please?

This doesn’t sound like Cubase issue anymore to me.

If you bought an update from Cubase 6 to Cubase 12, you got Cubase 11 (not upgradable) license to your USB-eLicenser. With this license you can start Cubase 11.

Yea How do I get back to Cubase 10.5 something that sort of worked…

Hi,

Install it and plug the USB-eLicenser.

Thanks pal, I’m rolling back today. You wouldn’t think it’s a Cubase issue anymore, but Cubase is the common denominator, doesn’t seem to happen any other time. In any case, I’ll find out once I start using 10 or 11.
