Let’s say you want to solo a track - so you hit the track’s solo button and Cubase automatically mutes all the other tracks. Then, if you want to solo a different track, you need to un-solo the previous track and solo the new track. Is there a setting where Cubase will automatically only solo the last track selected?
Hi you, yes there is. Simply press ctrl or command (PC or mac) and click the solo button, then it will be exclusive.
PS.: Please dont get me wrong, but allow me a hint: The Manual… ;o)
You may also want to play with this option:
Preferences>Editing>Project and Mix Console>Enable Solo on Selected track
Thanks for the helpful responses from the bottom of my mouse finger!
