can I still run 7.5 after upgrade to 8

Hi.

I have downloaded the upgrade but have pending recording sessions booked.
Can I still run 7.5 once I have upgraded.
I seem to remember this was the case for 6 when upgrading to 7.

Yes. Completely separate and independent programs.

What about elicenser, If upgrade the license does it still allow working with / is it still valid for working with 7.5?

upgrading your licence does not effect 7.5

This is absolutely correct. Just to expand a little, you license will now say Cubase 8 (the Cubase 7.5 license will “disappear”) but the Cubase 8 license will allow you to run any version 8 and lower.
