I am THE LEAST tech savvy person 
I record on my iPad, with GarageBand; thru my Steinberg ur 12.
I am having a problem with my sound dropping out a bit every four or five beats. Not totally out; just like someone is turning the volume down for a split second.
I’ve been working with apple people to see how I can fix it but they want me to update everything else I use.
My question is; can I even update my Steinberg ur 12? It’s not even downloaded on my iPad. I just plug it in when I record.
Sorry I’m not the smartest at all with tech.
