Can I use ANY speaker in my Audio Interface Output ?

Windows 7 (64-bit) Desktop
Condenser Mic plugged into Audio Interface (M-Audio Fast Track II)
Cubase 10 Pro

Will the OUTPUT of my Audio Interface work with ANY speaker ? or do I need to use a speaker that has some sort of pre-amp ?

ie: will it work if I plug a bare speaker into the Output ?

You need an active speaker. I.e. One with an Amplifier.
Or an amplifier and a passive cabinet.
